The box making machine must be installed, operated and maintained by specialists. Read the manual and its attachments carefully prior to installation, operation and maintenance to ensure its proper use. Please observe the requirements during operation.

Installation, operation, examination and maintenance shall only be carried out on the premise that information about the equipment, safety and precautions has been completely understood.

The safety precautions set out in this manual are divided into two categories, i.e. "Danger” and "Caution”.

Danger:

Misoperation can lead to dangerous situations, severe injury or even death.

Caution:

Misoperation can lead to dangerous situations, minor or moderate injury and damage of equipment and items.

In addition,

matters specified in "Caution” can also lead to severe consequences due to different situations. All the attentions and danger symbols referred to in this manual are important information which must be strictly followed.

1. Installation

A.

Danger

(1) It is strictly forbidden to stand under the load during lifting so as to prevent accidents.
(2) Wiring must be made by professional electricians.
(3) The power must be disconnected during wiring to avoid electric shock.
(4) Grounding must be made securely to avoid electric shock and fire.

B.

Caution

(1) Box forming machine must be installed at a place which facilitates operation, loading and unloading of materials as well as drainage. It must be kept at least 2000mm away from the surrounding so that maintenance and service can be made.
(2) No special foundation is needed for the installation of box maker but the floor must be level and capable of bearing the weight and a certain level of vibration. Rubber boards must be firmly placed under the base plate.
(3) Environment requirements of installation: temperature 5 ℃ to 25 ℃, humidity 50% to 60%.
(4) Wiring should be made after the main body of equipment has been installed in place with adjustment established.
(5) Levelness must be calibrated for the installation of this cartoning machine.
(6) Make sure that the rated voltage of power complies with the requirements of equipment before wiring.
(7) Special tools must be employed for the installation and wiring.
(8) Incoming and outgoing cables of the equipment must be protected with sheath.
(9) In case of any damage to the mechanical and electrical parts of equipment, please stop installation and contact us in time.

2. Operation

A. Danger

(1) The box making machine shall not be started unless operated by special operating personnel who have been properly trained.
(2) Lock the door of the control cabinet before power supply and do not open it when the power is on.
(3) Do not touch the inside of machine or its electrical facilities when the power is on.
(4) Do not contact electrical switches or buttons with wet hands to avoid electric shock.
(5) Cut off the power during troubleshooting or equipment cleaning. Live maintenance must be conducted by specialists.

B. Caution

(1) The temperature of machine room must be kept within the range of 5 ℃ to 25 ℃ and humidity from 50% to 60% when the machine is in operation.
(2) Operation of the machine can only be carried out after installation has been completed with necessary adjustment made.
(3) Ensure that no tool or item is placed on the equipment before starting.
(4) Machine must be run at low speed with no load for 10 to 30 minutes during the first time of operation to check any abnormal situation.
(5) Don’t open the cover of the moving parts during operation.
(6) Don’t touch the heated or running parts during the operation of equipment to avoid injuries.
(7) Parts with hot surfaces are marked with.It is recommended to use personal protective gloves where hot parts cannot be entirely guarded or the surface temperature exceeds 65 ℃.
(8) The operator must stay within the working range of machine at all times during its operation.
(9) For any abnormal situation, shut off the machine immediately by pressing the emergency

3. Maintenance, inspection and replacement of parts

A. Danger

(1) Disconnect the power during maintenance and inspection of the machine.
(2) Live maintenance must be carried out by specialists with protective measures in place.

B. Caution

(1) Maintenance and inspection must be carried out by designated personnel.
(2) If the machine is idle, please start the machine to run for at least one hour every 30 days.
(3) All oil fillers must be re-filled after one-month’s production.
(4) Dust inside the machine shall be cleaned in time. Check all screws and fasteners for looseness and displacement and tighten them accordingly.
(5) Check screws at each terminal, and tighten them on a regular basis.
(6) Check mechanical and lubrication parts on a regular basis.

3. Danger

Don’t modify critical components of the equipment to avoid danger or undermining its performance.
