1. General Requirements
A. Danger
(1) It is recommended to use forklifts for equipment transporting. Don’t stay under the loading machinery during lifting to avoid injury from collision and crashing.
(2) Wiring must be made by professional electricians.
(3) Disconnect the power during wiring to avoid electric shock.
(4) Commissioning with power or during operation must be carried out by specialists with appropriate protection measures established.
(5) Grounding must be made securely to avoid electric shock and fire.
B. Caution
(1) The machine must be installed at a place which is well-ventilated and facilitates operation, loading and unloading of materials.
(2) No special foundation is needed for the installation of box maker but the floor must be level and capable of bearing the weight and a certain level of vibration. Rubber boards must be firmly placed under the base plate.
(3) Environment requirements of installation: temperature 5 ℃ to 25 ℃, humidity 50% to 60%.
(4) Wiring should be made after the main body of equipment has been installed in place with adjustment established.
(5) Levelness must be calibrated for the installation of this cartoning machine.
(6) Make sure that the rated voltage of power complies with the requirements of equipment before wiring.
(7) Special tools must be employed for the installation and wiring.
(8) Incoming and outgoing cables of the equipment must be protected with sheath.
(9) In case of any damage to the mechanical and electrical parts of equipment, please stop installation and contact us in time.
2. Installing Environment
(1) The machine must be installed at a place which is well-ventilated and facilitates operation, loading and unloading of materials as well as drainage.
(2) The machine must be kept at least 2000mm away from the surrounding so that maintenance and service can be made.
(3) Handling equipment such as forklifts must be made available on site.
(4) Environmental requirements:
a. Temperature: normal ambient temperature should be 5 ℃ to 25 ℃.
b. Humidity: 50% to 60%.
c. The equipment shall be kept away from oil gas, chemicals, acid and alkaline substances, explosives or inflammables.
d. Lighting: over 300LUX.
e. Don’t expose to direct sunlight.
f. The equipment shall be placed away from machines which cause vibration.
g. Direct blowing by fans shall avoid.
3. Transport Precautions
(1) Lifting and transport machines and tools shall be selected according to the weight specified on the nameplate of machine.
(2) Secure packing with standard wood cases for transportation with positioning established at the foot.
(3) Handle and transport machines with care to avoid damage of equipment.
4. Space required for Operation
(1) The machine must be kept at least 2000mm away from the surrounding so that maintenance and service can be made.
(2) There should be enough space at the operating side for material supply and operation.
(3) Specific installation space varies with the specifications, capacity and overall dimensions of the equipment.
5. Installation
(1) After open the packing case, check the appearance of equipment first to see whether there is any damage to its parts. In case of substantial damage which is beyond repair, please notify us in time for assistance.
(2) It is recommended that forklifts be used for handling equipment. Handle with care to avoid damage.
(3) Due to the heavy weight of machine parts, it is recommended that lifting equipment be installed above the machine to facilitate maintenance.
(4) Mark the location in the room based on the overall dimension of equipment for installation (see Figure 3).
(5) Move the machine into the room for accurate positioning. No special foundation is needed for the installation of machine but the floor must be level and capable of bearing the weight and a certain level of vibration. Rubber boards must be firmly placed under the base plate.
(6) Levelness must be calibrated for the installation of this cartoning machine.
(7) Check the mechanical parts of equipment in a comprehensive manner for any damage or abnormal situation. Check the instruments and electric control device for damage. Check all fastening screws and electrical connections for looseness.
(8) If no abnormal situation is found, wiring should be made by electricians. Make sure that the power is disconnected during wiring.
(9) All plugs of motor cables and control cables from the main machine shall be inserted into their respective power sockets in the control cabinet based on the elementary diagram and checks should be made to ensure there is no error.
(10) Installation of power supply: 380V three-phase five-wire power should be supplied and connected to the power terminals in the control cabinet according to the wiring diagram. The ground protection power line shall be connected securely to the grounding PE terminal of the equipment.
(11) Incoming and outgoing cables of the equipment must be protected with sheath.
Make sure that the rated voltage of power complies with the requirements prior to wiring.
Connect the aviation plug and connector based on the figure and the mark on the equipment.
Using special tools to install and wire all parts.
Danger
Grounding must be made securely to prevent electric shock and fire!
6. Testing of Power Transmission
(1) Check all the mechanical and pneumatic parts and electrical wiring for abnormal situation.
(2) Switch on the main power switch at the right of control cabinet after making sure that the power supply is appropriate. Then switch on various circuit breakers in the cabinet one by one. Observe the instruments and power signal lights on the control panel to see whether they are in proper working status.
(3) Adjust the machine adjustment status on the HMI to enter the manual mode.
(4) Press the inching buttons of various mechanisms or run the equipment at low speed to see whether the machine functions properly.
